What are Neuromodulators?
Neuromodulators focus on reducing/relaxing fine lines and wrinkles caused by facial movement. Resulting in a smoother complexion.
BOTOX
Botox was the first FDA-approved Botulinum Type A neuromodulator, approved for cosmetic use in 2002. When used in controlled amounts, can reduce fine lines by blocking the nerve signals in the muscles allowing less movement.
DYSPORT
After the inception of Botox, Dysport was brought to the market and was approved by the FDA in 2009. Similar to Botox, once injected, Dysport disables the nerves around the injection site, resulting in less facial movement.
